J&J Taylor Toronto Safeworks

I recently aquired a Taylor Safe from the original owners, their Hardware store burned down in 1980 and they carted the safe home.The safe was open and just fine when I saw it but the movers spun the (taped) dial and now it's locked. The kicker is that the combination the Lady gave me for the safe is the wrong one! They also had a Vault in the store and all this time she believed she had the safe numbers written down......wrong! Is there a way to find at least the dial turning sequence so I can try to get a pro to open it and discover the combination? I think I'll have a problem with this safe as I doubt there's still manuals piled up in the local locksmiths shop for a circa 1915 Taylor.......but with the dial sequence I may have a chance.
