I have sitting beside me the original papers from the purchase of a J. & J. Taylor safe. It is still used on a daily basis in my office. It was purchased in 1917 and it has a letter on office letterhead inside. It came with a total bill of $56.00. It also contains the original paper and key for setting the lock. It came from the factory with a set combination of 65-45-80. It is quite a treasure and I am proud to have it in my office. |
