There should be three combination numbers and a drive cam which some call a "driver". This 4th wheel is the first that rotates before you pick up the actual combination wheels. Some people will call the "driver" a 4th number of the combination although generally it is the same on alot of the same style of safes. However it too can be changed....

Hall's came in both 100# and 130# dials which means one million theoritical combinations for the 100# dial and well over two million theoretical combinations for the 130# dial. These total number of combinations do not include the "driver" number.

Hope you have alot of free time if you plan to just try to dial it open.... :)
