if you listen carefully you can hear the dials make contact
with the screws that determine the combination. sometimes if
you twist the handle at the same time you can tell when you reach a blank spot on a dial. when the blank spots on the dials line-up you can open the safe. You could drill a hole
directly between the handle and number dial to remove the
part that fits into the slots on the inside dials and repair it after.
