I have a Schwab Safe about 2000 lbs or more. It is 70 1/4 " high, 50 3/4" wide and 35" deep (Outside Measurments.Manufactured by Schwab Safe Col Inc. Layfayette, IND. It also has a medallion on the front which reads Data Wright Line Bank. It has a plate on the outside, bottom, which reads Underwriters Laboratories Listed Record Container Fire Certification 150 2 hr. NO 708041. On the inside there is a plate which reads Underwriters Laboratories Relocking Device No 22293. Also on the inside is a plate which reads Spec F2-ND Y 2647 Safe Manufactures National Association for Record Container Fire Class 150 s.m.n.a. class 2 hour.
I have been told by a Customer Service Rep. at Schwab that the Data Write Line Bank indicates that the safe was manufactured in the early 1900's. I am trying to find the value of this safe. It may weigh 2000+ lbs. Any help you can give me will be appreciated. Pat Mabery
