That is why I won't sell Sentry or Schwab junk. Mass produced to sell people on a false sense of security. Go into Wally World or Staples and ask them what the fire rating means on their safes and if they protect valuables. You will be sold a worthless piece of junk.

Biometrics is the bottom feeder of all the new technology out there. It isn't as reliable as some of the other things coming. Retinal scanners are slowly coming about. The most reliable of retinal, biometrics, voice activated and whatever is now the hand recognizers. It takes measurements of your hands to go along with the "thumbprint of your palm to recognize you. Some of the camera/access control manufacturers are starting to install and sell these for gov't contractor applications. You put your hand in the box and it identifies you. Safes are close behind I would assume in this. The barrier material needs to go to another level though soon. More and more burglaries I see are from burglars cutting through the bottoms or back of safes and just taking what they need rather than going through the door and the hardplate. All 6 sides are going to have to start being beefed up.
