Matt it is a part of history; Halls Safes have been around since the 19th century. It might have been owned by a bank, but a double door safe could be a fire safe.

There were some double door banker's safes built for heavy burglary resistance, but more of the insulation-filled double door safes were built and sold. A lot depends on the construction of the safe.

As for value, without a working lock on the outer door there's not much to recommend it to a buyer.

You might have to hire a safe company to find a lock that can replace the missing one and install it.

Otherwise the only value is to the safe-moving company you'll have to hire to take it away.
