I have a vintage Empire safe with metal casters (also has a Yale combination and Y132 on the handle and one of the hinges). Inside it indicates it was purchased from the National Safe and Lock Corporation in Cleveland, OH. It measures approximately 18" x 18" x 20", it has a locking shelf and a drawer inside. The lady that owned it died at 96 and she had had it for a long time. I can't find a serial number or any other identifying marks. I'm wondering how much it might be worth and where I might be able to find people that are interested in a item like this. Would appreciate any info - thanks. Carlos |
