I own an old building that was used as a bank in 1900. There is an old vault door inside manufactured by Diebold Safe and Lock Co. Canton, Ohio. There is no date on the vault, but the first record of service is in 1938, the last in 1961. I beleive it is a Crane Hinge Vault Door that is attached to the vault room. It is a tarnished gold color on the outside, with a glass panel on the inside. There are ornate decorations on the exterior and interior of the vault. I would like to know some more information if possible about this door. The price is what i am most interested in. I have been unable to find examples of it anyware on the internet. If you could help me out, that would be great. |
