Dave - It's been sitting level for a week now but no change. The handle does not appear to be turning a full 45 degrees (more like 35), and that was actually my first question to the two guys who came to look at it. But both of the guys who came to look at it said they thoght that it was turning as far as it was supposed to - and when the handle is turned and you pull on the door, the top left corner of the door clearly has movement (about 1/8" - 3/16") while the bottom left corner does not. The locksmith who jacked up the safe to leevl it diod try to pull it open when the corner was jacked up, but to no avail. It is sitting on concrete, but he did not try dropping it. He mentioned that if we could turn it upside down he thought it might open, but then you have to figure out how to a 1000 pound safe upside down . . . Thanks for your thoughts - hopefully Scribbler can put me in touch with someone locally who knows more about what they are doing. John
