Friend just took a tour of NY Federal Reserve bank and said the gold vault was unbelievable. He said highly worth checking out for anyone interested in vaults or the like. He said the door weighs 90 tons and his tour guide said it is generally considered the safest place on earth. Walls up to 10 feet thick reinforced concrete!!!!! Just thought I would share that for anyone in NYC anytime soon. The fact that it contains more gold than anywhere else is cool too... |
