You do not go to zero o start from zero at any time. If it's the type of lock I'm thinking about after the three numbers are dialed the last turn to zero places the dial in the right place to allow turning of the handle....if it's the correct combination.

Using the same combination as before:

Dial 20 four times Right starting from any location on the dial. This means go by it three times and stop on the fourth.

Dial 40 three times Left..this means go by it twice and stop on it the third time.

Dial 60 twice Right...this means go by it once and stop on it the second time.

Dial Left to zero and try the handle.

If this doesn't work as I said invert the dialing directions. If it doesn't work it may not be the correct combination and then you'll have to call a safe technician or a local experienced in safes locksmith.
