Below are some photos I finally got around to taking. ClearStar Member and long-time friend, Bill Cary in San Fran stopped by my shop and brought the materials you see below.

A thinking smith can draw some useful conclusions, eh?.

Notice the TA on the face of the plug - meaning removable - whereas the code on the key only ends in T.

Below is a "removal key" - same key for ALL TA-series Timberline and Jofco! Also note the plastic spacers between the disc tumblers. The cuts for the various removal keys are...
  • TA-series - 3 1 3 1 3
  • TB-series - 1 3 3 1 3
  • TC-series - 1 3 1 3 3

... and must be cut on the 1043C blank, not the 1043J change key blank. Never use the 1043C blank for a customer's change key.
