Jarrett - You might consider this... The Dot Peen machine is kinda noisy and slow. Each key is done "alone", the machine takes up a lot of bench space, and probably costs "something". PLUS, I really don't like the marking it does.|
There is a what I call, a "gang stamp". It is a hand held stamper that holds up to 12 characters in a quick release holder. You can get the stamper "letters" in different sizes. I have 1/8 (nice size) and 3/16 (large).
When I stamp a key, I load the holder with the correct characters, put on my ear protectors, and WHACK! it is stamped and looks "factory". The second key if you need 2 is simply another "whack". If you are stamping different numbers, you just change the number (123 to 124) and it is very fast.
I just stamped 420 brass tags and it was a lot of fun for me.
I PROMISE you this... if you try out the "Stamper"... you will really want one.
Drop by and try it out. I no longer sell them. I sold that part of my business with the IC stuff. Call American Key Supply. (800) 352-1773
