I got a few layers of paint off and it had the "silverish" paint with gold striping on the edges with a outline in black, and the and center pin strip inside the gold one with decorative corners. I also found a painted number for each box, and it correlated to the number stamped on both the door plate and on each hinge related to each door. The Locks are the machined brass, looks like some time was put into doing the swirl designs on each lock. The outer key is a larger diamiter than the inner key. I have all the keys for the doors. And 1/2 the compartments had the original boxes in them. |
