Hi, I also have an old alpine safe, that I acquired from my grandmother. It has a patent date on the inside of the door, June 12, 88. I beleive to be 1888, because I remember seeing the safe before then, and my mother says she has had it forever. Mine to has the one drawer and the locked compartment on the inside and is probably only 2x3 on casters and very heavy. Cincinatti, OH on the outside with a scenic river picture that is about the size of a postcard. |
