Dear Sir: I have a vendor who has had a W.L. Dunn Halls Safe & Lock Company safe. Cincinnati & Louisville. 41" Tall 30" Wide 1849 25 1/2" Deep. The gentlemen is in his eighties and he removed it out of a old building years ago where he owned a Western Auto Store, the building was an old saloon long long ago and the safe was in the saloon. It is in Cadiz, KY and the building it was in is now our City Hall. James has the safe in his basement and is now living in Alabama due to illness. His family wishes to sell it. I have no idea what it is worth. Can you help me find out the worth of this safe and perhaps a buyer for it? It is in good condition, in the past James has kept his old coin collections in it. Moving it will be difficult as it took a crane to lower it out of the old salloon from the upstairs window. Thanks for your advice and help. YOu may email me or call 270-522-1005. Thanks again for your help. Cher |
