The safe in question is marked Safe-Cabinet Company, Special Model. I'm a mechanical contractor. A very good client's husband recently passed away, and was the only person who knew the combination to the safe. Every lock person I've called locally will charge $250 plus to drill the safe, but we would like to keep it intact. There are numbers stamped on the back. S 7 38 7. S738. Written on the asbestos mat (under the top cover) is the following... 170 model 1914. If it can't be opened via the combination, I'd rather not pay someone else to destroy it. Any suggestions? |
