Tom, if your safe works fine then it most likely is. Old Diebolds are relatively trouble free, but having a tech look at it would not hurt, especially if you are going to use daily. City Safe Co., located in Farmingdale???, N.J. would be a good choice for service and possibly a source for leads regarding restoration. Doug
