I just bought a property and the shed has a Barnes" Safe and Lock Company safe. The directions for unlocking and changing the combination are in a zip lock bag. Here are the opening instructions: Turn the dial to the left, stopping when the first number of the combination on with the lock is set arrives the fourth time at the star mark: then- Turn to the right, to second comb. stopping when the number arrives the third time at the star mark: Then left for third number arriving after two turns, Then turn to the right until dial comes to a full stop. which it should do in a partial revolution, now turn handle and open door. If dial does not stop, some of the numbers have been carried past the star mark, and the operator must commence again, turning as abov. Changing the combination is also included. I could copy this and email it to you if that will help. |
