We have a bank in downtown Clearwater, FL that has 2 of these doors you are talking about. If they are the same as you describing, the weight on it is 20,000 lbs. The building owners thought it would cost them $8000.00 to remove the one from the basement. The cost would realistically be closer to $25,000.00 since a/c was put in after the vault door was lowered thru the sidewalk grates (chiller pipes are now in the way). |
