John: Where in SC are you located? No offense to the locksmiths who you have dealt with but it seems that they don't deal with safes on a normal basis. Let me know where you are and I will refer a professional safe technician to contact you. You don't need "to drill several holes (at considerable expense) in this safe to open it.
