I have an antique safe from the Post Office in Newport, RI. It was from 1902 and is a double door safe(top and bottom separate safes with different combos). I have both combos. It has a beautiful hand painted National seal with the eagle and mountains and sea and what not, as well as gold leaf and crimson pin stripping along the whole safe and inside the doors.I have pictures of all, manufactured by Sargent & Greenleaf in Rochester, NY. Any idea what this may be worth? |
