Steve: Spector Lock and Safe Company was the company who originally sold the safe, not who manufactured it. I opened a safe labeled a Spector probably 20 years ago and that safe was made by Miller Safe Co. of Baltimore. Your's may or may not be Miller safe Co. safe. Anything written on the dial, wheel casters, or safe interior? As to getting it out of your car...as you wish...Good Luck! Luckily you or your wife didn't have to hit the brakes hard on your way home...an old safe is not worth hurting yourself or someone else due to a negligent move. Worse yet you could have killed an innocent person moving it that way...next time use a professional mover and save yourself possible injury, liability or worse! Dave LaBarge |
